Fascia Innovation receives two Good Design Awards in the US

Apple, Samsung, IKEA – and Fascia Innovation

Fascia Innovation has received the international Good Design Award for both the new M1 and M2 Products. Founded in Chicago in 1950, Good Design remains the oldest and the world’s most recognized program for design excellence worldwide. Among the other receivers this year we find companies like Apple, Samsung and IKEA.

Even though it is a huge accomplishment for a small company to be acknowledged along with this global giants, this is actually the second and third Good Design Award for Fascia Innovation who received the first in 2013.

“For us design has always been important. A physical product is perhaps the most important representation of a company’s vision, of values and what you want to say as a business. And for us, it’s all about making it easier for professional therapists to help more people and animals.” says Hans Bohlin, CEO of Fascia Innovation.

The M1 and the M2 were developed and designed with the latest anatomical research in mind, and in close cooperation with professional therapists, analyzing their work environment and treatment methods ,resulting in ergonomic, functional and user-friendly products, optimized for fascia treatment.

“Fascia Innovation is a unique and interesting company to work with as a designer. They have an understanding of the importance and value of design often found only in larger companies and international brands.,” says Nikolaus Frank of Frank Etc. AB, industrial designer behind the product, successfully cooperating with Fascia Innovation for many years, and receiver of more than 50 international design awards.

Right now, hundreds of professional therapists around the world are using the M1 and the M2 to increase the mobility of thousands of people and animals, in many cases easing back and neck pain, tennis elbow, frozen shoulder and muscle tension. With the vision to build the largest platform in the world in health and well-being they gather under the concept Swedish Fascia Vibes by Fascia Innovation. Hans Bohlin explains it:

“Swedish massage and Swedish design are well known around the world. With Swedish Fascia Vibes we want to bring the traditions of Swedish quality to the future. We need to think differently if we want to keep the body interesting in a digital age. We believe physiotherapy is a profession for the future – if you work with modern tools and a digital concept.”
